Sherri Ramsay is the former Director of the National Security Agency’s Threat Operations Center (NTOC). She led discovery and characterization of threats to national security systems, provided situational awareness for those threats, and coordinated actionable information to counter those threats with DOD, DHS and FBI. She served as a senior leader in NSA’s Signals Intelligence Directorate, Technology Directorate and Information Assurance Directorate. She is on the Board of Advisors for Virginia Tech’s Hume Research Center, the University of Chicago Cyber Policy Initiative, and for TruSTAR Technology.
John Halinski is a partner in S&R Investments LLC specializing in global security and risk consulting and investment opportunities. Halinski was the TSA's Deputy Administrator responsible for helping TSA grow as a high-performance counterterrorism agency. He served in the Office of Global Strategies (OGS) as the COO for the 62,000 person TSA. As Assistant Administrator for OGS, He was responsible for enhancing international transportation security through compliance, outreach and engagement, and capacity development, and he served as the TSA/DHS lead for the 2006 Winter Olympics. Halinski directed the TSA response to international incidents including the international cargo plot of 2010, and the December 25, 2009 attempted terrorist bombing and printer bombing attempt. He is on the Board of Advisors for Marymount University’s Intelligence Studies Program, The Board of Advisors for Christopher Newport University’s Center for American Studies and is a Senior Fellow with George Washington University on Homeland Security issues. John Halinski is also a frequent contributor to the media and has appeared as an expert commentator for NBC, CBC, CNN, Bloomberg and MSNBC as well as being published in various security publications.
Andrew Mack is Principal of AMGlobal Consulting, a Washington, DC-based consulting firm. A former World Bank project manager and banker with experience in more than 80 countries, Mack is internationally-recognized for his work on economic development issues and technology policy in Africa, Latin America and other underserved regions. Mack has worked with clients including Fortune 100 corporations like Chevron, Oracle, and Motorola, as well as the World Bank, the UN, African Union, OAS, USAID, and international NGOs, and is a frequent speaker at conferences and on radio and television in emerging markets. He has also advised the international Internet body ICANN, leading initiatives aimed at promoting developing country participation in Internet governance and increasing access for underserved communities.
Major General David A. Morris, US Army (Ret) is an independent advisor and consultant in the fields of defense, intelligence and leadership. He is on the Board of Advisors of Adhesys Medical, Inc., Bramer Group, LLC, United Water Federal Services, and Stealth Performance Communication. A graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, Morris subsequently served in Infantry, Special Forces, and joint assignments. Of note, he served in a Special Mission Unit and the US Special Operations Command (USSOCOM). In 2003, he commanded the Combined Joint Special Operations Task Force Arabian Peninsula (CJSOTF-AP) in Iraq. He served as the Commanding General of the US Army Civil Affairs and Psychological Operations Command (Airborne). As a civilian, Morris served in the intelligence community including the Central Intelligence Agency, the Intelligence Directorates of USSOCOM and US European Command. He retired as a member of the Defense Intelligence Senior Executive Service. From 2012-2014, Morris was a Vice President at DynCorp International and he was the Senior National Security Advisor to James Madison University as well as an adjunct professor with the American Public University System.
LtGen John Sattler, USMC (Ret) graduated from the US Naval Academy . He served as a Marine officer for 37 years retiring from his last position as the Director for Strategic Plans and Policy for the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. His assignments as a general officer included: Assistant Division Commander, Second Marine Division; Director for Combating Terrorism on the Joint Staff; Director of Marine Corps Public Affairs; Commanding General of the Second Marine Division; Commander Combined Joint Task Force, Horn of Africa; Director of Operations, Central Command; and Commanding General of the 50,000 Marine and Sailor First Marine Expeditionary Force in Iraq 2004-2005. He currently holds the Leadership Chair in the Vice Admiral James Stockdale Ethical Leadership Center at the US Naval Academy and is on the Board of Directors for the World Class Semper Fi Fund Veterans’ Charity.
